So I just got my order from Lovemode.com. I got 2 shirts (here is one and here is the other). First things first, let me just say that their shipping is extremely fast! I put in my order on Wednesday at 10:45 AM EST, and it arrived here today (Friday of the same week). I live in New York, and they sent it from California!! That makes me very happy. Especially since I didn't have to pay for the shipping :)
The shirts themselves are really nice! The first one is a really nice soft feeling material. The only thing about it is that it's a little bit whiter in the picture than it is in real life, but it's really not that big of an issue to me! It's super cute and perfect for spring and summer. It would look really cute paired with shorts, a skirt, jeans, leggings, everything! I got it in a medium, which is the size I usually order from all stores, and it fits me perfectly. (This shirt also comes in black and a light pink).
The second shirt is gorgeous! I love the colors on it. I could really see myself doing some awesome eye makeup to go along with it. This too would be lovely paired with any kind of bottoms. It would also look cute with a belt tied at the waist as well. I also got this in a size medium, and it fits perfectly also.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my order. I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future (as soon as I build up my bank account a little bit :) ). There were other tops and dresses that I would have gotten had I more money. I highly recommend this store! Remember, it's only an online store so you can't go there directly, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue. They're having their free shipping and 40% off up for a few more weeks I believe so if you want to get something from them, don't hesitate to do so!!

LoveMode - A juniors clothing store
I know this has nothing to do with makeup, but this is also my blog so I can write about whatever I want. :-p
Anyway, I just found out about this website called LoveMode that has juniors clothing. I know, I know I'm 25, but juniors clothing is what I fit best in :-)
From my understanding, it's a fairly new clothing company. They are only found online so you can't physically go to a store, but their website is very organized and easy to navigate. They have plenty of adorable tops, not much in the way of jeans, some nice dresses and skirts, and apparently their accessory line is "coming soon" according to the website. I really liked a lot of the tops, but I only ordered 2 as money is kinda tight right now...(plus I recently ordered some stuff from HauteLook and dELiA*s so there's some more money gone :-P)
So they are having a store wide sale for 40% off (which is really good!) and free shipping on all orders, no price limit!! (I am such a sucker for free shipping). Also, if you "Like" their page on Facebook, you are automatically entered in a contest to receive a $50 gift card. Pretty darn cool!
If you end up ordering anything, leave a comment letting me know what you got! I like to see what other people like :-)

False Eyelashes Rant
Just why? I never understood false eyelashes. I mean, I guess if you're going for a really dramatic look, false eyelashes can really make a difference, but I sometimes just think they're unnecessary. Especially if someone created such a beautiful look with their eyeshadow and then they put on these huge, long eyelashes that just covers it all up. Every girl of course wants to have long, luscious eyelashes, and maybe I just don't understand it because my eyelashes are kinda long, but they just seem a little excessive sometimes.
What really freaks me out though is that most false lashes are 100% human hair...why would you want someone else's hair on your eyes? Haha I know it's completely sanitary and all, but it still just creeps me out just a bit. I've never exactly worn false lashes so I guess I can't really understand all the hype surrounding them, and I will probably never wear them, but whatever floats your boat I guess?

Mini Review on my ELF purchases
I tried all the ELF products that I ordered and there is only one thing that I do NOT like. The white cream eyeliner that I got is terrible. I tried it on my waterline, and you could barely tell I was wearing anything. Kind of a disappointment. It may just be because it's white so I can't judge all their cream eyeliners the same way. Also, it could be just because I was trying it on my waterline. Then again, I don't really know where else I would use it a white cream eyeliner. Maybe on my lid as a base for my eyeshadow? Hmmm....
By far my favorite thing that I got are the brushes. I ordered the 9 piece brush set ($15) along with a separate kabuki brush ($5). Can I just rave about this kabuki brush for a minute? I LOVE it. It is soooo soft and is very handy for putting on powder foundation. If you use powder foundation on a regular basis, you need to buy this brush. For only $5, there is no excuse not to purchase it. The other brushes that came with the set are really good too. In this set, you get a full-face brush, a contour/highlighting brush, a foundation brush, a defining eye brush, an eyeshadow brush, a smudger, an eyeliner brush, a brow comb/brush, and a lip brush. I have used them all except the smudger brush which I will probably never use.

- The full face brush is alright, I will probably just use the kabuki brush that I bought instead. I guess I could use it as a backup if my kabuki is dirty.
- I really like the contour/highlighting brush but as with the full-face brush, I don't really like the feel of it on my skin. It could be a little bit softer.
- The foundation brush isn't too bad. I don't really have an opinion on it either way. I do prefer the other foundation brush I have though.
- The defining eye brush is a brush that would be good to use in the crease just to deposit the color there, not really to blend it out. It's smaller and angled and soft and a pretty mediocre brush.
- I really like the eyeshadow brush. The brush part is pretty wide and once again is very soft. It deposits color very well, and is overall a good eye shadow brush.
- The smudger, like I said, is something I will never use so I'll just skip over it.
- The eyeliner brush is just a standard thin flat brush. I haven't really used it much, but it isn't too bad. I prefer using an angled eyeliner brush though.
- The brow/lash comb I think I used like once, and it was alright. Nothing special to say about it.
- The lip brush I only used once too. I don't really wear lip color that often so I probably won't use it that much.
Overall, I really like the brushes that I ordered. I also got the 83 piece essential makeup collection that contains eyeshadows, blushes, and lip glosses. I'm going to review that for my next blog post so stay tuned!

ELF Cosmetics
Yayyy, I finally got my order from ELF cosmetics. I wasn't expecting it to arrive today so I was totally psyched when I saw it. I've never tried any of their stuff before so I'm hoping I like what I got.
Here's a list of everything I ordered along with a link to them as well:
Here's a list of everything I ordered along with a link to them as well:
- Professional 9 piece brush set. It comes in a nice case, but it smells kinda weird. Hopefully when I wash the brushes they won't smell too bad.
- Burgundy wristlet so I can carry makeup when I'm out and about.
- Dual pencil sharpener. Needed a big sharpener for my NYX jumbo eyeliners :)
- Kabuki face brush. Oh my gosh it is soooo soft. I ordered one from Coastal Scents not too long ago, but I have a feeling I'll be using this one a lot more often.
- Ivory cream eyeliner. Wanted to try this for lining my waterline because the white eyeliners I have suck. Hoping this works better and lasts longer.
- Berry Mix cream eyeshadow
- I ordered the 83 piece makeup set because it was on sale for only $3.50 (it's a $35 value so it was 90% off). I swatched some of the eyeshadows and blushes on my hand, and the texture is very chalky which I'm probably not going to like, but for $3.50, I guess I can over look it. It also comes with some lip glosses too which I may wear from time to time. I'm not really a person who wears lip gloss often (though I seem to buy it often!), but we'll see.
I'm really excited to try all of this out. My ferret seems excited too. She keeps trying to climb into the box it came in :)

ShoeDazzle
I just registered at this site called ShoeDazzle. When you sign up, you take this style quiz which takes a day to process your results. They then show you shoes that would best fit your style as per the quiz. It's completely free to sign up, and whenever you find a pair of shoes you like and would like to purchase, you then pay $39.95 for that pair of shoes. It's a really cool concept, and I was perusing through the selection and found a lot of pretty decent shoes.
I have a link here if you would like to sign up. When you sign up, you get 20% off your first purchase. That means you'll only be paying $31.96. Pretty good deal if you ask me. So sign up today!!
